Around this time last year, I photographed Claudia Akermann in her glasses and hearing aid shop for a local magazine. She was so incredibly kind to leave me this most wonderful message on my answering machine:
“Hello Mrs Wilmanns, I just wanted to thank you for this amazing photo. I don’t think anyone has ever photographed me so nicely — I’m so grateful, and everyone is so happy about it. I usually don’t like having my picture taken, but here I look really natural, just like myself — it’s great! I’m absolutely thrilled, and so is the entire team!“
Again, thank you so much, Claudia Akermann! Receiving positive feedback is certainly a highlight and an especially happy moment of the day – and it often stays with me for years and years to come.

Letztes Jahr um diese Zeit habe ich Claudia Akermann in ihrem Brillen- und Hörgerätegeschäft „Akerman Hören und Sehen” für ein lokales Magazin fotografiert. Sie war so unglaublich nett, mir diese wunderbare Nachricht auf meinem Anrufbeantworter zu hinterlassen:
„Hallo Frau Wilmanns, ich wollte mich ganz herzlich für dieses tolle Foto bedanken. Ich glaube, noch nie hat mich jemand so schön abgebildet – ich bin so dankbar, und wir freuen uns alle total. Normalerweise lasse ich mich überhaupt nicht gern fotografieren, aber hier komme ich wirklich ganz natürlich rüber – genauso wie ich mich auch fühle – ganz toll. Ich bin total begeistert, und wir alle in der Firma!“
Vielen Dank, Claudia Akermann! Positives Feedback zu erhalten, ist immer ein ganz besonderes Highlight und ein besonders glücklicher Moment eines Tages, der oft noch Jahre später bei mir bleibt.
